Singletrail Großarltal (Panorama Rausch & Forest Whisper)
The Singletrail Großarltal is the flagship trail for freeriders and mountain bikers in the valley. It is divided into the sectors Panorama Rausch (from the mountain to the middle station) and Forest Whisper (from the middle to the valley station), winding down the slope in waves and curves.
- Location & Accessibility: Easily accessed via the Panoramabahn Großarl or the Kieserlbahn. The descent starts at the mountain station (approx. 1,845 m) and runs through alpine and forest terrain via the middle station down to the valley station in Großarl (885 m).
- Difficulty: Easy to moderate (Singletrail scale: S1 - S2)
- Key Facts: Total trail length: approx. 10.0 km | Elevation drop: approx. 960 m continuous
- Character: A smoothly rideable flow trail with gentle berms, small wooden bridges, waves, and photo spots. Suitable for beginners and kids, but at high speeds it also offers plenty of airtime and fun for advanced riders.

The Bichlalm Circuit
Thanks to the countless managed huts, Großarl is known as the "Valley of the Alms" – and the MTB tour to the Bichlalm epitomizes the perfect Salzburg alpine tour with fantastic views of the Hohe Tauern mountains.
- Geographical Location & Accessibility: The tour starts in the center of Großarl (5611). The route leads over shady forest roads and hairpin bends up to the sunny Bichlalm at 1,695 meters.
- Difficulty: Moderate (forest road uphill, easy alpine trails downhill)

If you want to experience the full mountain biking program in the Großarl Valley on gravel and forest trails, choose the Großarler Alm Circuit. It connects several rustic huts in the side valleys of the Großarl Valley.
- Geographical Location & Accessibility: The route starts in Großarl/Unterberg. It zigzags over the Mooslehenalm (1,449 m), the Viehhausalm, and the Niggeltalalm (1,507 m) via the service road.
- Difficulty: Hard (physically demanding climbs & steep descents)
- Key Facts: Length: approx. 16.0 km to 36.0 km (depending on the circuit variant) | Elevation gain: approx. 780 to 1,100 m
- Character: A varied uphill dream through shady spruce forests and alpine pastures. Constant alternation between scenic forest roads, steep climbs, and natural service road sections.
